STEEL MAGNOLIAS

This 80s classic is a perfect film about friendship, love and real life. It's funny and captivating and I was so proud to be cast in it.

Character: Annelle Dupuy Desoto - A young women who develops the most throughout the play. She goes from shy newcomer to rebel to born again Christian to settled friend and mother. I loved playing this role as it was a great opportunity to play such a diverse range of human sides, all in one character.

What I brought to the role: I purposely didn't watch the film before the show so that I could really think about her relationships with the other characters and her role in the story, rather than being influenced by another actor's performance. I was told that I brought something unique to the character and that I really developed her from start to end.
