Who doesn't love an old-skool farce? Set in the 70s, Beyond a Joke is a typical "things going wrong with comical consequences" play. This was my first role on stage and I loved every minute.
Character: Jane - the supportive and patient wife to the main character, Jane is the friendly go between who stops her husband getting in too much trouble.
What I brought to the character - I tried to make a likeable character, and despite being the sensible one of the group, she very much had her funny moments too
